# experiment_report ## Purpose The **experiment_report** table stores detailed documentation of completed experiments conducted on SCP entities. It contains structured narrative output describing the experiment procedure, observations, results and conclusions derived from the experiment. This table represents the knowledge and research outcome layer of the experiment system. ## Columns | Field | Type | Description |--------|--------|-------------------------------------------------------------------------------| | id_exp | BIGINT | Experiment identifier (PK) | report | TEXT | Full detailed report of the experiment including observations and conclusions |-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------| ## Relationships - References **experiment.id_exp** through **id_exp** to link each report to its corresponding experiment. - Referenced by **experiment** to ling experiment to its detailed report ## Rules - Each report corresponds to exactly one experiment (1:1 relationship). - A report can only be created for experiments in the following states: 'completed', 'failed', 'aborted', or 'containment_incident'. - Reports are unalterable after creation to preserve scientific integrity. ## Example output (with \G operator) *************************** 1. row *************************** id_exp: 5 report: Experiment 1 - SCP-002 Interior Survey Objective: To conduct a controlled exploration of SCP-002 interior space using two D-Class personnel and document environmental properties, spatial consistency and anomalous characteristics. Procedure: Two D-Class subjects (D-10 and D-20) were equipped with standard audio/video recording devices and instructed to enter SCP-002. The chamber hatch was secured behind them per protocol. Subjects were directed to verbally describe observed interior conditions. Observations: Upon entry, subjects reported the interior resembled a furnished residential room, noting that furniture components appeared compositionally identical to human biological tissue. Lighting conditions were described as “ambient but directionless.” Within three (3) minutes, both subjects reported an inability to relocate the primary entry hatch despite remaining within a confined space. Progressive degradation of audio/video signals occurred over a four-minute period. Before total signal loss, D-10 displayed severe disorientation and claimed the "walls were breathing." Video feed briefly showed structural components actively reshaping before final telemetry failure. No retrieval was possible. Conclusion: SCP-002 interior exhibits non-Euclidean geometry and autonomous bio-organic restructuring. D-Class testimony confirms rapid perception instability. Both subjects are presumed consumed by the anomaly to facilitate structural growth. Recommendation: Further manned exploration is suspended indefinitely. Future testing requires remote automated rovers with hardened shielding.
